Property: White crystalline powder. Highly soluble in water, the aqueous solution is weakly. Alkaline, insoluble in alcohol. It readily deliquesces and loses its crystallization water in air.

When heated to 180°C, it completely loses all crystallization water and converts into an anhydrous form. The anhydrous compound has strong hygroscopic properties.
